Travelers donates 100% of the proceeds from its annual PGA Championship to charity. In 2016 the main beneficiary was the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT, which treats patients afflicted with ALS.

To promote the cause, Travelers commissioned a short video celebrating the life of Bruce Edwards — a native son of nearby Wethersfield and a legendary caddy for Tom Watson — who succumbed to the disease in 2003.

We mixed archival footage with contemporary interviews and I wrote the VO.

After it screened I left to go cry in the parking lot.
